One of my favorite meditation techniques by far is the Loving Kindness Meditation. Maybe because it's simple, maybe because it provides an easy focus, because it can be effective in a relatively short time, or because I just love love, the Loving Kindness Meditation is one that I just love to practice, and have for a long time.

The Loving Kindness Meditation can be used to promote self-acceptance and self-love, can be directed toward friends and family to strengthen relationships, or can be used to help connect with the world as a whole. It can even be an excellent tool for forgiveness.
