We all have our ways of dealing with anger, and some strategies for managing anger are more effective than others. Sometimes effective anger management is a matter of trial and error. In these cases, learning from others' experiences can often help. While we all respond in our own ways, some anger strategies work better than others, and are worth sharing. I invite you to share your best anger management tips, and see what works for others. Share Your Tips!

Others' Anger

Realize that when someone is angry at you or makes an unpleasant comment, it is usually something they are lacking in their life....they are just directing it towards you.

Anger Management

I have swallowed offences for decades in order to keep a 'false' peace. Led to coronary artery disease. After 3 stents I promised myself I will address issues I may have with an individual asap and confront pleasantly - if that doesn't work: FIRMLY but without raising my voice. Have practised this 3 times with great results: the stress just fell away from me. It's about setting and maintaining boundaries - for me at least.
