Often we focus on obstacles and closed doors in our lives, and feel stressed as a result. This is only natural, but studies have found that those who are able to focus on the hidden opportunities that lie within their challenges tend to have more success and happiness in their lives.
How can you turn around a bad day, a major obstacle, or anything in between and turn a disappointment into a triumph? Zero in on what you can control in a situation, even if the aspects you cannot control seem to be far more noticeable. Change the way you view a situation, a practice known as "cognitive reframing."
