Time Management Tips: Get Back That Hour We Lost!

By March 10, 2014

Follow me on:

People tend to become frustrated with the whole "Spring Forward" aspect of Daylight Saving Time (DST). I've written blogs where people have become extremely passionate in the comments section because they so hate losing that extra hour during the night. And although I like having more hours of daylight overall, I do sympathize with those feelings of frustration; with time already so precious and seemingly scarce, it's difficult to lose a whole hour, even knowing that I'll "get it back" later in the year. And I know I'm not alone.

If you find yourself wishing you had an extra hour in the day, rather than an hour less, don't worry--there's hope! There are many things you can do to maximize your time and even get better sleep so you won't feel a lack from the loss of this one measly hour. If you want more time and more sleep (and, even if you don't live in an area that participates with DST, who DOESN'T want a little extra time?) I've compiled some resources to help you find extra time in your day, or at least feel as though you have.

How do you find extra time in your schedule? Leave your best tips in the comments section, and brighten someone's day!
