More Ways To Turn Back The Clock

By , About.com GuideNovember 4, 2012

Follow me on:

In most parts of America, Daylight Saving Time just occurred this past weekend--we set our clocks back one hour so we don't spend most of our morning in darkness. (Here's more on Daylight Saving Time, which was always a little confusing to me.) I love the idea of turning back the clock (and, like many, I wish I could have the experiencing of having an extra hour every weekend!) but living in an area that participates in Daylight Saving Time and waiting for Fall isn't the only way to participate in 'setting back the clock'. These stress-management-related methods also come to mind:
  • Savor Past Experiences:
While it's a good idea to live mindfully in the present moment, savoring and reliving happy memories can be a way to give your mood a boost, maintain a connection with meaningful people and memories in your life, and keep an attitude of gratitude for all that you've enjoyed so far in your life. Some ways to savor past experiences: reminisce with a good friend, maintain and re-read gratitude journals, write about happy memories, look at photo albums and really feel the happy feelings you felt in those days. Rather than merely remembering the events, let those feelings wash over you, and enjoy them for a few minutes.

  • Manage Stress Today:
Because stress management is linked with health and longevity, working on ways to relieve stress today can lead to more happy tomorrows. (You can then 'turn back the clock' by looking back at today from those tomorrows, haha!) Seriously, though, the way you live today can determine the quality (and quantity) of your tomorrows, so making a commitment to relieve stress in one or two new ways today can lead to greater wellness and happiness.

  • Find More Time:
Look at your current schedule and see if there are any ways you might repurpose an hour from time-wasting activities to things that will really enhance your life. Really live each day to the fullest, and be sure that your life has some activities you really enjoy.

One of the best things about being a Master Herbalist is in helping my family stay healthy.
Make a lengthwise cut down the middle of the loaf without cutting through the bottom
crust. For the fastest recovery it is best to use the remedy at the very first signs of a yeast infection.

(2) coconut oil acne says:

And it doesn’t cause breakouts either, because it is a natural moisturizer. If you also have acne, coconut oil will treat most types of acne too and is better than most chemical acne products. Nickel allergies were a lot more common in the past with the use of jet guns.

I think that what you said was very reasonable.
But, what about this? suppose you typed a catchier post title?
I mean, I don’t want to tell you how to run your blog, however what if you added a headline to possibly get people’s
attention? I mean More Ways To Turn Back The Clock is kinda plain.
You should look at Yahoo’s front page and note how they create news titles to grab viewers to click. You might add a related video or a pic or two to get people excited about everything’ve got to
say. Just my opinion, it would make your posts a little bit more interesting.
