Happiness Happens Month is an important observance brought to you by the Secret Society of Happy People, a not-so-secret group conceived of and run by Pamela Gail, a happiness-observing (and very nice) person who has helmed the SOHP for the past 14 years. There are a few ways in which she recommends we celebrate happiness:
- If you're happy and you know it ... tell somebody!
- If someone else is happy and they know it ... listen!
Another way Pamela recommends spreading happiness is to answer some happiness-related questions in an email, and send it out to your friends; they can then answer them and send them back to you and to their friends. What a great way to spread the joy! You can also put your answers into a 'note' on Facebook and share the note with your friends, inviting them to write their own. You go, Pamela! I’m happy because I’m employed & have a new convertible!
Happiness is being surrounded with family and having enough work to pay the bills.
Yes! More ingredients to my happiness recipe? Challenging work, loving family and friends, and spare time for reading and exercise. Yay!
My happiness is being intensely aware, having a desire, working towards that desire, and achieving it (at least in part). In contentment, I may find rest but progressing towards a goal, however modest or great, is where I am most happy.
Fulfilling my purpose makes me most happy.
Founding and able to pursue my goals, each and ever step that I made and being able to complete them; looking back how far that I’ve come; that really makes me HAPPY and Strong!
Happiness for me is feeling and knowing that I have more than enough in every area. It absolutely is a mindset! I am happy when I have more than enough fun, free time, creative projects, clients, creativity, money, love. Taking and having time to appreciate what I have (which is so much) is always a way to make me happy:) Yeah!!!!!
