Tis The Season To De-Clutter

As the holidays approach and most of us prepare for an influx of new things into our homes, now is the time to donate or toss items we don't use! Donated items can be put to use by people who need them, and the absence of clutter can relieve a significant amount of stress. Plus, if you clean house now, you'll have somewhere to put all your new stuff after the holidays, and a cleaner place if you want to have guests! The following resources can help you de-clutter in time to enjoy the holidays:

I know you’re right that less clutter and mess makes us less stressed. But I can’t seem to translate that knowledge into reality. Recently my son’s educational consultant came over — we had changed the day she was supposed to come from Tuesday to Wednesday, and I forgot that. It was so embarrassing when she showed up and my house was an absolute mess — worse than usual, in fact.

Conversely, when the house is in order, I notice how much bettet it feels!
